QAOSH Company Background
Since 1999 QAOSH Services Limited has provided small to medium aviation companies with external audit and safety assurance services as an independent monitor of their companies’ systems and compliance, and provided liaison between themselves and the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority and their Australian and South Pacific equivalents.
QAOSH is proud of their good reputation within the New Zealand aviation industry and with the Civil Aviation Authority, and provides quality assurance and audit services to a range of air operators, aero engineering companies, training organisations and airfields from their base in the South Island.
Established by Evan Pearce to cater for smaller aviation companies seeking the benefits of external Quality Assurance, the name QAOSH is derived from his specialisation and qualifications in both Quality Assurance and Occupational Safety and Health.
As the company has diversified and grown, the QAOSH team has been complemented with extensively experienced and operationally active staff working within the aviation industry, for the industry.
We have a passion to provide safety and practical compliance for the companies we hold senior positions for.
Evan brings his operational experience from more than two decades involved the aviation industry, currently engaged as a B737NG First Officer with previous positions held as Dash 8 Captain and ATR72 First Officer accumulating over 9000 hours flying experience. Evan started with the RNZAF as an Avionics Mechanic and Logistics Control/Loadmaster.
Evan hold approvals for Part 135, 125, 139, 145, 148 and 141 companies and has completed courses in Occupational Health and Safety Management and Safety and Quality Lead auditor courses approved by the CAA.
